Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo again denies all domestic abuse allegations levelled against him by his estranged wife, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, who recently filed a restraining order against him.
The “Rockville” actress has accused Black Coffee of allegedly assaulting her at her 33rd birthday dinner at their Sandton home in March.
The alleged incident took place during Mbali’s weekend-long birthday celebration at the former couple’s home, in full view of the guests.
Well, the Court has ruled, and it has dismissed Enhle Mbali’s case, which Enhle is not happy at all.
Reacting to his victory, Black Coffee took to his Twitter page to once again stand by what he said that, he didn’t assault her, and thank all those who stood by him.
“In April I tweeted that I did not, and would not assault Mbali. I did this to set the record straight in order to correct the narrative that is out there. I thereafter chose to remain silent about issue as I had faith and trust in the judicial system.”
” Following the proceedings, the Court has ruled in my favour. The interim Protection order was set aside and her case dismissed. Thank you all who stood by my side.”
The star also expressed how the alleged incidents negatively affected her young children, who, according to her statement, bore witness to some of the incidents.
She further explained that she never wanted to air the couple’s dirty laundry, but the recent turn of events had forced her to reconsider.
“It has never been my intention to discuss the perils and subsequent breakdown of my marriage in the court of public opinion, but I have always been pushed to defend the sanctity of the marriage, and now recount the abuse in public.
